I have been dealing with it for years and somehow I have managed to get it to a minimum with more or less success. I realized that it's better to prevent anxiety that to fight it when it strikes. I've made a list of 10 resolutions that worked for me to be able to handle my anxiety easier and with more grace. Make sure you choose experienced piercer, weather you do it in a piercing shop or at the piercers house. And remember that even if you and your piercer do everything right, complications may occure. Only when knowing about the process and possible problems you are mentaly pretared to get a piercing. And when it heals properly you can have all the fun and enjoy in it. But there is one frustration I had - and that is ironing sleeves. Sleeves on my dresses and shirts were always left with lines and wrinkles no matter what I did. And than I find out about this awesome trick. Take yout flattening iron and dependign on the material of your clothes, start ironing. It will give you perfect sleeves with no lines and wrinkles. You can also use this trick on clothes with little accessories like flowers of other small embellishments. Also if you have jules on your clothes you can use flattening iron to easily straighten fabric around jules withought burning or breaking them.
